BBQ Potatoes

by McCormick   grill time 30-35 minutes

4 medium red potatoes, cut into 3/4" cubes
1 T vegetable oil
2 T McCormick Grill Mates BBQ Seasoning or 2 T McCormick Grill Mates Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning

1. Toss potatoes with oil in large bowl. Add Seasoning; toss to coat evenly.
2. Place potatoes and onions on large wide sheet of heavy duty foil. Bring up foil sides; double fold top and ends to tightly seal packet.
3. Grill over medium-high heat 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender, turning packet over halfway through cook time.

In my opinion: These were good, but not as good as I'd expected. We had this with Pat Neely's BBQ Glazed Corn-super good!

Lemon Herb Green Beans

by McCormick

1 1/2 lbs. fresh green beans, trimmed
2 T butter
1 t basil leaves
1/2 t oregano leaves
1/2 t finely shredded lemon peel

1. Cook beans, uncovered, in large saucepan in boiling salted water on medium-high heat 7 minutes or until tender-crisp.
2. Drain well. Return beans to saucepan.
3. Toss with melted butter, basil, oregano, and lemon peel. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
4. Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.

In my opinion: These were delicious. I am trying a recipe for Crock Pot Lemon Chicken and I plan on making these with that meal.

Touchdown Chili

Touchdown Chili by McCormick

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 c chopped onion
15 oz kidney beans, drained
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz tomato sauce
1 pkg chili seasoning

shredded cheddar cheese
sour cream
chopped green onion

1. Cook beef and onion in large skillet over medium high. Drain. (I always have some cooked ground beef in the freezer as a short-cut).
2. Stir in remaining ingredients through seasoning.
3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

In my opinion: This was really good but I think there were too many beans. I will make it w/o the beans next time.

Mesquite Lime Chicken

Mesquite Lime Chicken by Mc Cormick

2/3 c Chipotle Ranch pasta salad=4 points

1/4 c fresh lime juice (I use more)
3 T McCormick Grill Mates Mesquite Seasoning
2 T vegetable oil
2 T honey
1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breasts (I make more and use leftovers for fajitas or salad)

1. Mix lime juice, seasoning, oil, and honey in a bowl.
2. Add chicken, turning to coat well. Marinate in refrigerator 15 minutes or longer.
3. Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium heat 4-5 minutes per side, or until done. Baste with remaining marinade halfway through cooking. Discard any leftover marinade.

We usually serve this with lime cheese on the cob and a pasta salad.
